Meet Our Team
Negin Ebrahimifard (she/her)
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist,
Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist
Being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes as a child is deeply connected with my work as a dietitian as I have the unique experience of being both the patient and provider in similar settings. I understand the empowerment of defining and navigating my own health, but I also have experienced being overwhelmed by the impacts of this disease. When managing chronic conditions, often our health and what we can and cannot eat are used to define us. I am committed to helping you define your health goals and empower you to be your own health advocate. My goal is to give you the tools to develop and maintain a positive relationship with food so that you can be your best self.
APPROACH
With many years of experience in a clinical setting my approach is rooted in medical nutrition therapy and evidence-based practice. However, I will honor you, your life experiences and health goals in order to guide our work together. I believe in compassion-based support and will encourage and challenge you with respect. You can be your strongest advocate!
