Nutrition Care That Trusts You First
At Numena Nutrition, we believe healing starts with trust — in your body, your story, and your right to guide your care.
We’re passionate about helping people navigate diabetes with fewer compromises, providing compassionate eating disorder care, and using IFS (Internal Family Systems) as a supportive tool when it’s helpful.
Our approach is weight-inclusive and trauma-informed, offering care that’s realistic and supportive no matter where you’re starting from.
If this is the support you’ve been waiting for:
"My experience with Annika at Numena was transformative."

Negin Ebrahimifard
RDN, CDCES
(she/her)
Negin has lived with Type 1 diabetes for over 25 years, including through two pregnancies. She knows firsthand the emotional and physical complexities—and the compromises—that come with managing a chronic condition.
Negin’s philosophy goes beyond blood sugar charts and meal plans. She focuses on understanding the "why" behind your patterns, supporting curiosity over shame, and empowering you to define health on your own terms.
When you work with Negin, you'll find a thoughtful co-captain who meets you with patience, grace, and real-world insight—helping you navigate both the science and the emotions of nourishment.
I offer compassionate, evidence-based support for individuals of all ages and backgrounds, with a focus on empowerment, education, and well-being.

Annika Garman
RDN, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor (she/her/they)
For over a decade, Annika worked in hospital settings where healthcare often felt rushed, rigid, and disconnected from people's full humanity — especially for those navigating layered identities and systemic barriers. That experience shaped her deep commitment to a different kind of care.
Today, her approach is grounded in intuitive eating and Internal Family Systems (IFS); a therapeutic model that helps people understand and care for the different "parts" within themselves. She holds a deep belief that healing must honor the intersections of body, identity, culture, and lived experience.
When you work with Annika, you’ll find a thoughtful, compassionate guide who sees your wholeness and walks alongside you as you reclaim it.
